Created
Act No. 1008 of the Philippine Commission, enacted 25 November 1903, set up the municipality of Pangil again, joined with Paquil, after Act No. 939 had merged Pangil into Siniloan. The seat of government was to be at the barrio of Balian.[9]

Its story

On 12 October 1903 the Philippine Commission cut the thirty municipalities of Laguna to nineteen and put Pangil under Siniloan, together with Famy.[10]

Six weeks later, Act No. 1008 struck Pangil out of the Siniloan group.[9]

It made Pangil a municipality in its own right, joined with Paquil, with its seat at the barrio of Balian.[9]
