About this dataset
The 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) of the Philippine Statistics Authority, counted as of 1 July 2024: the population of every region, province, city, municipality and barangay of the Philippines, with household population and the number of households where the PSA publishes them. Scene shows each place's count beside its share of the place it belongs to and its rank among the places listed with it, both worked out from the same counts.
How the figures were made: A census: a count of every person in the country on one day.
What Scene adds: Each place's share of the place it belongs to, its rank by people among the places listed with it, and island groups' totals, added up from their regions.
