- Poverty, 2021Poverty incidenceHow many of every 100 people live in families whose income is below the poverty line: what a person needs in a year for food and other basic needs, as the PSA sets it for each province. Stories from Northern Mindanao
Damulog has no Story of its own yet. This one is about Northern Mindanao, which Damulog is part of.
- Created
- Republic Act No. 6369, approved on 16 August 1971, created the Municipality of Damulog in Bukidnon out of fourteen barrios, with its seat at Barrio New Damulog.[9]
Its story
The Act took fourteen barrios, among them New Damulog, Old Damulog, Sampagar and Omonay, and made them a separate and independent municipality.[9]
The town gained corporate existence only when its first mayor, vice-mayor and councilors were elected and qualified at the next general election for local officials; a later section moved the seat from New Damulog to Damulog.[9]
